1. Alhambra Carnelian Vintage Yellow Gold Necklace 2. Carnelian Guilloché 5-Motif Rose Gold Bracelet <Pros/Cons> The red carnelian has the advantage of making the skin look clearer and more radiant. It's also a great accent color to lift your spirits. The guilloché pattern has a beautiful shimmer that makes it look ethereal, and the rose gold bracelet isn't too flashy, which is nice. However, carnelian doesn't like moisture but loves oil, so while it's okay in water, it gets oily quickly even just by placing it on your skin. Unless you clean it, the oil around the edges doesn't come off completely even after wiping. Dust easily gets trapped in the guilloché pattern, and you have to be careful not to scratch the bracelet to maintain its shimmer for a long time. The biggest downside is that the necklace keeps curling up and turning into a choker, and the pendant sticks to your neck at an angle, so you have to check it every now and then. The bracelet is slightly big on me, with a wrist bone circumference of 14.5cm and chicken-leg wrists, but shortening it is tricky. The SA told me to just wear it as is and said I probably wouldn't need to shorten it, so I'm going to think about it for a year.
