Went out for a meal and stumbled upon a newly opened Bottega Veneta in the countryside.😅 I wouldn't have even glanced at this brand in the city... but after my friend coaxed me in for a look, I was met with an incredibly enthusiastic and charming salesperson who gave me the hard sell. After looking at various items, they brought out this bag, and it just so happened to perfectly match my outfit that day. 💚 The leather? Need I say more... I'd been giving a lot of thought to luxury bags lately... 🙂 And then I found this olive green bag that could be my everyday, throw-it-all-in, yet unique, go-to piece. They even held it for me even though they usually don't (thank you, salesperson!). I was so hungry that I spent two hours agonizing over it with my friend while we ate. After filling my stomach, I went back and saw the khaki one my friend recommended, and I was torn again. Happy dilemma! ~~ If I were to buy the khaki, it's a little too dark, and maybe the Woody color would be better... They don't have it in the store. I could probably find it if I tried. Open, 힘! But the salesperson told me that the olive color, officially called Travertine, was specifically brought in for the Korean market, and there's probably only one of these rare items in the Chungcheong area, at least. That got my attention, and my love for rare items won, so I bought it. For those of you who love and use Bottega, which of these three colors would you recommend? I have enough bags as it is... I don't have any Hermès yet. And I don't plan to get one anytime soon. I truly appreciate good leather, and I like that this Certificate of Craft product has the advantage of good aftercare and was made by a single artisan. Please recommend a color. I brought home this rare item, but it's still unopened. Here are some shots from the store and the official website.
