So, I got this really pretty designer scarf abroad around January of this year. I think they called it some kind of special edition in English at the store back then? Since I bought it overseas, I found the receipt and it came out to about KRW 950,000 with the exchange rate. The only downside is, it probably would've been around KRW 880,000 if I'd bought it in Korea, haha. Anyway, I'd been wanting to frame it for ages, so I finally visited this framing factory I'd saved on my map and got it done! The owner was super nice. Apparently, people come from all over, even taking overnight trips from other provinces. Framing it cost around KRW 150,000. He said he thought he'd seen my scarf design before. For the frame, he showed me three options – he called one 'champagne gold,' I think? So gold, champagne gold, and wood. I'm sure there were other colors too. It took almost an hour, I'd say. I guess the time depends on the size and how much the scarf wrinkles. He was really careful about checking for any wrinkles, which was great. Oh, and before you go, he'll give you the number for a nearby dry cleaner. It's essential because you need to get the scarf ironed beforehand! It's not expensive.
