Hi everyone! I'm finally posting my first ever review of something I bought with my own money :) I'd been seriously debating getting the Mini Evelyne in gray to carry around when taking my little one to and from school. Then, as if by fate(!), my SA suddenly contacted me. They sent a few casual photos of the Mini Evelyne in light gray and dark gray, haha. I already have two gorgeous Minis, so I was hesitant to buy another. But: 1. It has the new short strap. 2. That strap is gorgeous!! (Five stars) 3. It's the gray mini bag I'd been wanting! 🩶 So, here it is: <Purchased on March 3, 2025 in Taiwan for 84,000 NTD> Paid for it myself, haha. *That's about KRW 3,700,000 at today's exchange rate. The price is a bit higher because it's not the standard strap. *For reference, the Mini Evelyne with a regular strap costs 78,900 NTD, which is around KRW 3,480,000 at today's rate. *I often see questions about shopping in Taiwan, so I thought I'd share – these days, things are a bit more expensive there than in Korea, due to the exchange rate! *TMI - Locals usually pay during department store promotions and deduct it from their credit later. As you all know, the Mini Evelyne's <Pros> It's light, small, and beautiful. <Cons> Hmm... I can't think of any...... 🤔 My SA is always so cool, just sending photos without any specs. 😎 And I just reply with a simple "pass" or "(I want it!)要!" LOL. I asked for dark gray, but when I received it, it was relatively darker compared to the bag next to it in the photo. It was even more beautiful than I'd imagined - a Blue Glacier with silver hardware Mini Evelyne came to me. Limencello silver hardware / Blue Glacier silver hardware / Brick gold hardware So, here's my Mini Evelyne trio. The Brick gold hardware one has been used with a strap shortener a lot, so that part is a bit wrinkled 🥹. Will ironing fix it?? - The short strap is perfect for wearing on the shoulder like this. It's not impossible to wear it crossbody, but it feels a bit too tight against the body. I tried on the Limoncello for a matching comparison shot with the dress and Idioma sandals. The longer strap is definitely better for crossbody wear :) So, That was my review of the Hermes Mini Evelyne, which has only pros and no cons for me :)
