Purchase & Visit Date: November 3, 2025. Location: Rolex Store, Galleria Timeworld, Daejeon Price: KRW 23,020,000 --- My 43rd birthday is in five days! I was originally planning on getting a Boucheron Quatre ring with my husband, but somehow a ring just didn't feel like quite enough... Two weeks ago, a colleague at work showed me their Rolex watch and suggested I get a watch instead of a ring. I thought, "Wow, that's beautiful!" and started looking into it from then on. Oh, I have to make a reservation... at midnight on the last day of each month? Okay! I studied up by reading blogs and set an alarm for the right time. On the 31st, I woke up to the alarm in a daze and eagerly turned on my phone, hoping to succeed in making a reservation... But in just 3 minutes, the reservation ended in failure -_-. Last Thursday, I went on a trip and came back early this morning, so I took today off. I decided to try my luck with a walk-in visit today. Okay, if I can succeed with a walk-in before my birthday, I'll get the ring next time! That's what I resolved, and I went to the Rolex store at Galleria Timeworld near my house around 2:40 PM. I asked if I had to wait until 3 PM since I didn't have a reservation, and the staff member said it was okay and told me to come in. I said I was looking for a women's watch, and they said they had one in a two-tone combination. Wow... they showed me the chocolate dial with diamonds that I'd only heard about! (I didn't hear if it was yellow gold or rose gold, but I think it was rose gold, right?) When they saw the surprised look on my face, the staff member started explaining something about the bezel. I think they were saying it wasn't fluted. Well... that's okay. ^^ A fluted bezel would be even more sparkly, which would be nice (I'm a little sad about the KRW 160,000 difference), but the smooth bezel is nice and clean too.
