It was the summer of 2023... We received an invitation to the Burberry Bespoke event at the Gravity Seoul Pangyo, and my husband and I went! After selecting from countless Burberry classic jackets, we learned that everything is done custom! This isn't about customizing an existing jacket; Bespoke means it's made from scratch the moment you order!! Buttons, patches, embroidery, length, lining, ALL CUSTOM😆 The process takes about 4 months! - My one-of-a-kind Burberry trench coat!! Bespoke event story 😆 So, I decided to give it a try! First, for the trench coat style, I chose the Waterloo model, the most basic regular fit that's neither too feminine nor too casual. I already had a honey camel trench coat, so I went with black! I lengthened the coat to a long version. Instead of the existing Burberry check cotton lining, I opted for a silk material with a unique design! There were so many kinds of buttons, from wooden ones! I couldn't decide on a color because I liked these kinds of buttons, and then the sales associate told me, "You can choose them all!" Oh, really? So, I thought, why not try that? I can always change them if I don't like the final result! So, I chose them all! I also picked a patch, and I could embroider my initials! I decided to embroider my English name on the collar. For the patch, I chose black in a tone-on-tone style to avoid making the sleeves look too empty or too cluttered! I was going to leave the back blank, but there was a design that you could only add on this day! Only available through Bespoke!! It was so unique that I wanted to hang it on my wall! If you look closely, it's a knight on horseback made by combining socks, ties, mufflers, and shirts! Isn't it cool!?😆 It was totally my style, so I had to add it to the back~~!! So, Bespoke ended like this... But... The price... more than doubled the original Waterloo trench coat! Lol... it's more efficient to buy two trench coats plus other clothes... Lol. Once it's completed like this, it can be saved for about 3 days. And I went home without buying it, stuck in that dilemma... About 4 months later, the sales associate contacted me to say that new products had arrived, so my husband and I went to check them out~ While looking around, there was a very familiar-looking piece among all those clothes!!! Turns out, my husband secretly placed the order and planned a surprise with the sales associate!!! Finding my Bespoke while browsing😭 So, are you curious about the finished product!?!? Ta-da~~~ My one-of-a-kind Burberry trench coat in the world⭐️ My outfit shot! Lol Subtly unique! Friends ask where I bought it because of the back embroidery! It was a proud Bespoke story🤭 There's Bespoke for each brand, but I think Burberry Bespoke will remain my best memory.^ The end!!!
