I've had my eye on the Pomellato Pom Pom Dot since it launched last year! At first, it came out in malachite + mother-of-pearl + diamond, black mother-of-pearl + white mother-of-pearl + diamond, and full diamond versions, and I thought, 'Hmm, not really my favorite gemstone combos...' so I hesitated. Especially since I already have the Van Cleef malachite earrings/necklace and about four or five Mao Pearl pieces from Van Cleef, I wasn't really drawn to it... But then! This year, bam! They released a plain gold + turquoise + diamond version! I absolutely love turquoise 😍 And I loved the reversible design, too. Turquoise + plain gold clasp, plain gold + diamond clasp!! I figured I could wear the turquoise side a lot in the spring and summer, and the gold side a lot in the fall and winter, haha. Turquoise goes really well with casual shirts, too. And the gold side looks great with Saint James stripes, haha. I always struggled to find the right necklace for striped outfits, but the Pom Pom Dot is cute and has just the right amount of volume, so it works perfectly. The gold color is so lustrous and beautiful, I can't even. The downside...? The necklace clasp is a little small...? So if you have long nails, it's a little tricky to put on? That's about it. I rushed to buy it because I heard Pomellato was raising prices by 10.1%, but the Pom Pom Dot I bought wasn't affected, lol. I should have bought a Nudo 😭 But I think even the sales associate didn't know... I've been pestering one sales associate for two years now, lol, so I kept my loyalty and bought it from them. The Hyunmu sales associate is so kind, I'll definitely buy from them again 😌
