My 30th birthday is October 4th, and my departure date is exactly then, so I received this like a birthday gift! 🎂 I bought it at Lotte Duty Free Myeongdong (the seller was super kind). Sadly, yellow gold wasn't available for the Diva's Dream necklace, so I went with rose gold 😢 I wish they had yellow gold... Yellow gold lovers are crying 😭 The department store price is KRW 3,720,000. -> The duty-free price is $2270 x KRW 1400 = KRW 3,180,000, but I used my LDF points, so I could buy it for around KRW 3,000,000 even after taxes (KRW 220,000 in taxes). It's a great deal for both value and satisfaction! At this price point, you could even consider Boucheron, Fred, or maybe even Bulgari... Oh, and there's a rumor of a price increase next month, right? hahaha Pros: I'm from the countryside, so I made time to try on many necklaces. The unique atmosphere of the Diva's Dream necklace – pure and elegant – is irreplaceable. I recommend Diva's Dream over Van Cleef's Mother-of-Pearl. And I think the basic model captures that unique atmosphere better than the pave version. The mother-of-pearl sparkles under store lighting and shines subtly in everyday life, but I can't capture it in photos. Especially when you wear it with a white top, it's a killer look! You can become a diva! Cons: 1. The mother-of-pearl is delicate; this isn't an everyday, 'can't take it off' piece. I have to carry it around during my trip, so it's difficult to manage. I already have scratches on the mother-of-pearl... and the box is all crumpled. Heartbreaking! But thankfully, the cost to replace the mother-of-pearl has decreased to around KRW 200,000. 2. Sometimes it's hard to keep it centered when you sweat. It's a fixed pendant, so if the flat back of the pendant and the part that touches your skin are a little sticky, the necklace should hang straight down in the middle, but it sometimes gets caught and stops. I heard the old version before the renewal was a moving pendant, though ㅠ
