Hermès sandals
Hi everyone! 🤗 I'm finally getting around to reviewing my Hermès sandals, something I've been putting off during these hot, busy, and exhausting days. First up, My Hermès journey began in the summer of 2023 with the Oran sandal. We have medium skin tones, and we found that darker washes of denim look cleaner and suit us better than lighter washes. I got the Oran in dark denim, size 37 (I usually wear 235), and orange, size 38 (I usually wear 245). My sister and I both have wider feet, so we sized up for the slippers! I was wearing a white skirt that day, and I couldn't take my eyes off the orange color. I didn't listen to my sister and bought the orange, but I ended up exchanging it for Étoupe. 😅 There's definitely a reason why it's a popular color! 😆 I'm a mix of warm spring and cool summer, so Étoupe can look a bit dull on me, but since it's far from my face, it looks very calm and goes well! 👍 I wore the Oran for a day, and I got a blister on the inside of the logo near my ankle, but after wearing them a few times with a week in between, it got better. However, I can't wear them for long periods of time. 🥲 I'm short, so I don't wear slippers often, but when I go to indoor malls in the summer, these pretty slippers are a comfortable way to look effortlessly stylish. My sister suggested from the start that the Oassis with a heel would be better, but I thought those platform slippers looked too old-fashioned. But after wearing the Oran, hmm...🙄 I thought having a heel would be more comfortable, haha. So, I immediately got the Oran in gold when it was in stock! Secondly, I got the Oassis in gold, size 37.5, at the end of summer in 2023. This was a sizing mistake, haha. I thought that my foot would slip forward because of the heel, so I got my usual size... well, the bottom design of the shoe is different, so it's a bit small. 😂 The Oran has a wider bottom, and the Oassis is narrower. I recommend considering that when choosing your size! Still, I'm wearing them well, and the gold is made of calfskin, so it's softer and more comfortable. The location and design of the H logo are also slightly different, so the Oran and Oassis hurt in different places when worn, so I switch them every day when I wear them consecutively. 😅 However, I can't wear the Oassis often because I have a slight bunion on my right foot. 🥺 My big toe's side bone fits perfectly into the hole in the H logo, haha, and it feels like the bone is protruding more and more after wearing them... 🤣🤣🤣 However, I recommend the calfskin Oassis with a heel over the Oran without a heel.🤎 At the time, the Oran was KRW 950,000 and the Oassis was KRW 1,050,000. Thirdly, Around the beginning of summer in 2024, I just went in to buy a silver product if they had one, but it was when the free entry system was just introduced, so the sales associate said they would assist me if I looked around. I was looking at what shoes they had this year when I fell in love with the Ensense Noir 🖤. I had a feeling it would look so pretty on. I was trying on the display, and OMG! I was so infatuated with myself. 🤭 I've seen so many posts of stylish people wearing the Santorini, and I thought it would be great if they made a version with a heel~!! And they actually did! 🥰😍 For reference, it has a 5cm heel. This is a heeled sandal 👡 with a closed back, so my usual size 37.5 fit perfectly! It feels more comfortable and secure than the Oassis logo, and it's a pain to buckle the ankle strap, 😅 but it's forgivable because it's so pretty~~^^ It's also perfect for wearing to work every day because it's not too flashy, so I absolutely love it 🫶. At the time, it cost KRW 1,320,000. I held the shoes and bought silver jewelry with my sister, and the sales associate brought out a Garden 30 in leather.😆 It was the first bag I've ever bought in store and the first bag they've ever brought out for me!!! 🤗🤭🤭 Fourthly, The Ensense Noir was such a well-worn item last year that I was going to buy another pair in white this year, but instead of waiting for the Ensense, the Camille Mary Jane Slingback 🖤 6cm caught my eye. The Camille was even better because it was 6cm. Since the front is closed, it doesn't matter if it's a little higher~ Especially when I was looking at it online, the Mary Jane design was so feminine, and the beige finish of the shoe was refreshing. However, even though my feet never hurt from walking for a long time, it doesn't feel comfortable because the leather isn't as stiff as Epsom, but it's like a stiff rubber? 😅 The leather feels like it's cracking when I walk, and it doesn't wrap around my foot. So, the leather around the instep opens up on both sides when I walk. Haha 😁 However, it gives a girly feeling because it's a Mary Jane, so it's good! 👍 Lastly, I hesitated a lot about buying these because they didn't have a heel, but I ended up buying them for the summer of 2025!! My Rose CanCan 🩷 Santorini!!! When I saw the Bleu Glacier and Rose CanCan online, they caught my eye, so when I went to see my sales associate, I tried them on and immediately said, "I'll take them!" ^^ These don't have a heel, so I got a size 38 without question. They're made of calfskin and cost KRW 1,340,000. They're soft and comfortable to wear, but... since I've been buying heels 👠 lately, I can't help but feel like I'm walking too close to the ground. 🥲 I originally didn't have any sandals to coordinate with my light pink skirt, so I was torn between white and light pink, thinking they would both go well with light pink, but it was a disaster 😅😅😅😅 The same family but slightly different tones...😭 Black and white is the truth!!! 🖤🤍 If you don't wear white bottoms often, it's ambiguous~~ I've only worn them once, so I don't really remember how they feel~ So, my favorite of the five pairs of summer shoes I've worn is the Ensense!!! Especially the Noir 🖤 color. You really don't have to worry about summer with just the Ensense ^^ Next, I like the Camille. The Oassis is a bit stuffy in the middle of summer, so the Santorini is also good for those over 160cm. Thank you for reading my long sandal 👡 review. I hope everyone has a great end to the weekend and a cooler week ahead. 🤗
