I finally bought the Love Classic bangle, my forever wishlist item! After five years of unwavering love for the Love Classic, and a brief flirtation with the 4-diamond version, I went with the original due to budget constraints... Hehe. I took an early morning bus and rushed to the Shinsegae opening, but arrived late and got lost. I got there at 10:59 AM, only to be denied entry, told the waiting list was already closed. I pleaded, explaining I'd come all the way from the countryside, a 3-hour journey, and begged to be added to the waitlist at least for a little bit, but a short, young male employee remained stone-faced and firmly refused, saying it was impossible and pointless. Crushed, I called customer service, who told me there were 40 teams on the waitlist at the main branch in Myeongdong...and that was an hour-old data! Haha. That's when I also learned the store doesn't have a phone line. So, I quickly posted on a cafe and thanks to the kind and wonderful people there...I'm truly grateful, beautiful souls... Sob sob. I rushed to Apgujeong, got waiting number 25, and because it was the last day of the price increase, I waited a whopping 5 hours before entering the store. I immediately stated the model, tried it on, paid, and was out in 20 minutes. Hehe. I went alone, but I managed it all! My wrist is a bit thicker than usual, with my protruding wrist bone measuring 17cm, so I tried on size 21 to wear it comfortably. But it went down too far below my inner wrist, looked strange, and was too big, like wearing my dad's. Haha. The manager strongly advised against size 21, so I got size 20 in Rose Gold. Now, time to save up for Van Cleef and Chaumet... Ka-ching! Hehe.
