Oh my gosh, I actually managed to snag a walk-in at Hermès! 😆 For years, I've dreamt of a leather Picotin and a Mini Evelyne, but I've never even seen them when visiting Hermès... ㅠㅠ And of course, the online store is always a bust haha. Then, in the distance, I spotted a pink Picotin, so I joined the queue, and lo and behold! They had just finished displaying new items! I bought it in September, at Pangyo, for KRW 5,040,000. The Picotin 18 in New White was put on display right before my turn! Squealing!!!!!!! My heart was pounding... I was set on buying a neutral color if I ever saw one, and who knew that day would be today... You really need luck on your side, it seems. There was also an Herbag 31, a pink Picotin 18, and a Lindy, but after I confirmed my purchase and went back to the display, they were all gone haha. I usually wear beige tones, so gold hardware was my first choice, but knowing how hard it is to get, I gratefully accepted the New White color ㅎㅎ Most of my jewelry is gold, so I always hoped for gold hardware, and I'm so happy that it's gold! I also picked up a Twilly that will go well even in winter! (Mors a Jouets Chemise Twilly - KRW 370,000) I've seen reviews of the New White color saying it looks like A4 paper or correction tape... hahaha I agreeㅋㅋㅋ However, it's more of a white with a drop of grey mixed in! The pros and cons of the Picotin in New White will become clearer as I use it more, but the biggest con is that I have to be extremely careful of color transfer. I'm wondering if I, with my many beige outfits, will be able to carry it often? (I'll overcome it.....^^) The pros are that it's so pretty! Lovely! The perfect size! Lightweight! It's definitely a popular item hahaha. They tied it with a ribbon at the store, but I was worried about it getting dirty, so I wrapped the handle with a Twilly ㅎㅎ Wishing you all luck too! ❤️
