It was me, the selfish daughter who was supposedly studying even past thirty... Then I realized my mom is almost seventy already ㅜㅜ I feel so sorry that she has to support me even at the age when she should be enjoying her retirement... I've never even given her a proper gift before... (But still, when we meet, I'm just a nagging, complaining daughter ㅜㅜㅜ) This time, it's not a huge gift, but I've always been bothered that she doesn't have proper shoes, so we went shopping for summer sandals together. I'd only looked online, but this was my first time visiting the store, and there weren't as many styles/colors as I thought. (Just bags and Geta sandals...?) She tried on a few things, but nothing really stood out, so I suggested sneakers, but she didn't seem interested. Then she saw the Santorini and seemed to like it quite a bit!! I immediately asked for her size and she kept trying them on.​A 'filial' daughter trying on the shoes she's buying for her mom. They said the colors were Blanc, Noir, and Pink, and I was torn between Blanc and Noir, but Noir felt like it would be more durable since it's Epsom leather, so I went with Noir. ​Here's a photo my mom sent me today wearing them. The pros are that they go well with everything, they're light, and pretty! The cons are that people with high insteps need to size up, and they're slippery if you don't get the soles reinforced?? I sized up two sizes so she could wear them comfortably, and I'm glad I did. She said she felt bad to wear them because they're too nice, so I told her not to save them and just wear them a lot, and we'll go buy another pair ㅎㅎㅎ I said I'd buy her a bag next time!!
