I've always hated things clinging to me, especially the feeling of being pinched by things like watches, or the suffocating feeling of rings on my fingers. I just don't like that restricted feeling, so I've never been into accessories at all, except for pearl necklaces and earrings. But lately, I've been taking a class, and every week I see this older woman in the front row with these sparkling accessories on her arm. I've started to notice my own arm aging, and I wondered if a bracelet might make my arm look a little prettier. That's how I got interested. At first, I looked into the Love bracelet, but I've never managed to get a spot in the Cartier waiting list (they always contact me when I get home). So, I decided to start with a necklace and went to look at the B.zero1 Mini. Why B.zero1? Well, one day I was talking to that woman (I'd guess she's in her early to mid-60s), and I liked her necklace. I looked it up and found out it was a B.zero1, though I think it was the Mini version. She was wearing the B.zero1 set, including the bracelet, that day. So, I went to the store to check out the B.zero1. Of course, my mom is different from me. She said the chain was too thin and that I'd regret getting such a small pendant when I got older (and I'm almost 50!). I ended up buying the original because of my mom's advice...or rather, pressure. I wanted something I wouldn't want to take off, a daily item, but the weight of the original, which I didn't notice in the store, was so cumbersome and heavy as soon as I got home. So, for a few days, I regretted not getting the B.zero1 Mini necklace and bracelet for the price of the original. But now, I think the original has such a presence that I would have regretted getting the Mini anyway. Now I'm scouring café reviews, desperately looking for a bracelet to buy. The Love bracelet in rose gold, size 16, looked best on me, and the B.zero1 bracelet was nice too. But then I saw the Louis Vuitton All-In BB, and I realized that the B.zero1 and All-In together cost about the same as one Love bracelet.
