I went to pick up my ordered Carret and ended up falling for this Herbag 31 at first sight! Unboxing it with so much excitement, haha. It's not brand new; it was a display item, so it didn't have the handle wrapping, but the SA checked the condition and even touched up the leather perfectly, so I was happy to bring it home. It comes with a lock and key, but the Herbag itself is already quite heavy with its thick leather strap, so I'm keeping those stored separately. The all-black Herbag is about KRW 500,000 more expensive than the regular black one, just because of this special logo, haha... At 166cm, the strap falls to my hip, and you can remove the shoulder strap, but they advised me to get it done at the store because the hardware can easily come off if you do it at home. I wasn't initially drawn to the Herbag because of its weight, canvas material, and the difficulty of opening and closing it, but now that I'm carrying it around, I'm so attached to it. Even when I try to create a French chic vibe by leaving the lock open when I'm too lazy to open and close it properly, people keep telling me my bag is open, which is a bit awkward, haha... I'm also conscious of the contents being visible, so I think a nice inner bag is a must. And because it's canvas, I have to be mindful of carrying only the essentials to prevent sagging... But it's so pretty that I want to buy another one in a different neutral color to go with my mini Herbag. - Purchase Date: April 2025 - Location: Hyundai Department Store, Apgujeong - Price: KRW 5,070,000 I wish I had bought it when it was in the KRW 3,000,000 range...
