Damour necklace and earrings: S vs. XS size comparison

I've never been one for flashy things, so I usually just wore a simple ring. But lately, my neck felt a little bare, so I decided to get a necklace. The Damour collection was just perfect for someone like me who loves understated elegance, haha. I bought the Damour white gold necklace in size S last January and have been absolutely loving it. That led me to think about the earrings I'd briefly held up to my ear when I made the purchase. They kept haunting me, so two weeks later, I bought the earrings in the same size S, haha. But maybe because the necklace and earrings were the same size, the earrings felt too big when I wore them, sob sob. The earring design was also a bit more three-dimensional than the necklace... I bought them at the Ginza store in Japan, where I could only hold them up to my ear, not actually try them on. So I guess I didn't get to compare them properly. The earrings looked disproportionately large compared to the necklace pendant, which is so tiny. The balance just felt off. So, after wearing them once, I just kept them in their case. Then, in April, I ended up buying the Damour earrings in size XS! Left is size S, and right is size XS. I heard that the XS size has now been renamed to the 'mini' size. I've heard so many people say that the XS size is as small as a grain of rice, but it feels a little bigger than that, lol. And the S necklace with the XS earrings is the perfect balance. These days, Damour is like a tattoo – always with me!
