Okay, here's my review of the Van Cleef & Arpels Guilloché Alhambra pendant that I proudly won first place with on last week's White Gold Expedition! This is my first Van Cleef! 🤍 I once got the Sweet Alhambra, but it was too small for me, so I returned it. This is truly my first VCA piece. I already posted photos from the store, so today I'm doing an unboxing and review. The packaging is just so pretty, isn't it? It's Van Cleef, after all! Alright, let's open it! Are you ready to be blinded by the sparkle? Haha. Luckily, the store had two pieces for me to choose from, so I was able to bring home a flawless one! The other piece had a very, very slight scratch. Look at it! It's so clean without a single scratch, right? 👍👍 I put it on the Van Cleef booklet to take a picture. I fell in love with the Guilloché from the first moment I saw it. How can it be so sparkly and pretty? It's just as sparkly as the Vinda! Both the Vinda and the Guilloché are so sparkly and beautiful... I really struggled to choose. The Vinda sparkles with elegance, and the Guilloché sparkles with extravagance. Haha. Elegance or extravagance? I chose extravagance. I think it's because my skin tone is warm, not cool. If I had cool undertones, I would have chosen the Vinda for sure. But... I was told to choose diamonds no matter what, so I was conflicted until the next morning.... and finally, I cut the tag! Haha. Now it's mine! Forever! 🤍🤍🤍 Here are some photos of me wearing it. It's so sparkly that I keep getting blinded! Haha. Since I have warm undertones, I think it looks better on top of my clothes than directly on my skin. I think I'll need to extend the length soon. It's the perfect length now, but I really want to make it a little longer. Haha.
