Pros: The branding is subtle. There's only a tiny, barely noticeable 'H' on the buckle. Unlike delicate ankle straps like those on the Santorini or Ensens, this has a wider strap with metal-reinforced perforations, making it surprisingly easy to put on – just pull, and it catches in the hole. The round toe box is comfortable, and the design is neither overly girlish like a ballerina shoe nor too career-oriented like a pointed toe – it's just neatly understated. The 6cm block heel is great for shorter women and feels stable. The heel area is definitely comfortable. Cons: I prefer lambskin or calfskin for shoes. When walking, these feel a bit like rubbery clogs (a stiff feeling with a hint of softness?). I checked the official website and found they're made of goatskin with nappa leather trim. The Royal and Paris lines are calfskin, while the Oran, Oasis, and Santorini vary between calfskin and Epsom leather depending on the color. Personally, I find Epsom a bit too stiff, and calfskin fits much better, especially for those with wider feet. That's a bit disappointing. However, the goatskin should be durable. The material has a stiff flexibility, and the edge on the instep overlaps with the area where the big toe bone is, causing pain when walking around (this might be because I don't have narrow feet). For the same reason, the instep edge folds and unfolds with each step, causing creases after just one wear. Purchase Date & Location/Price: 2025.02, Lotte Department Store AvenueL, KRW 1,740,000
